The short answer for Tsuen Wan
Tsuen Wan has two crypto shops and at least eight Bitcoin ATM listings. The walk-in option is Crypto HK's Trading Centre at Shop 78, 1/F Chuen Fung Centre on Sai Lau Kok Road. PP Crypto Exchange has a counter on 3/F of Emperor Plaza, 18 Tai Ho Road, but only by appointment. The machines, run by CoinHero, CoinUnit, HK Bitcoin ATM and Localcoin, are buy-only as far as we could confirm.
That makes Tsuen Wan the strongest cash-crypto town in the New Territories, and the only one where you can compare two different staffed operators on the same afternoon. It is also where the gap between search demand and supply is clearest. People type "usdt 找換店 荃灣" into Google, and the honest answer is more complicated than a single address, for reasons we explain in the USDT section.
We checked every listing below against the operator's own site on 30 September 2026, and we mark the ones that come only from aggregator data. Laundromat machines appear and disappear often, so open the operator's live map before you set off.

Crypto HK, Chuen Fung Centre
Crypto HK is better known for its counters in Admiralty Centre, but its Tsuen Wan Trading Centre is a full branch on the operator's contact page, with a local phone line and published hours. The building is 荃豐中心, which Crypto HK romanises as "Chuen Fung Centre". You will also see it written as Tsuen Fung Centre on maps and signs. Older directories give the street as Wo Liu Hang Road. Crypto HK's own page gives 138 Sai Lau Kok Road (it spells it "Sai Lou Kok Rd"), and that is the address we use.
The company's OTC trading terms are the clearest published rules of any shop in the district. Cash deals under HK$100,000 need no appointment. Above HK$100,000 you book by WhatsApp or Telegram. Sales settled by bank transfer start at HK$500,000. Settlement currencies listed include HKD, CNY, USD, KRW and JPY. Note the hours: it closes at 18:00 on Saturdays and does not open on Sundays or public holidays, so plan weekend visits carefully.
PP Crypto Exchange, Emperor Plaza
PP Crypto has traded since 2017, according to the company, and its main branch is in Prince Edward. The Tsuen Wan unit is Room 307 on 3/F of Emperor Plaza (地皇廣場), a few minutes from Tsuen Wan station's Exit A1. The operator lists it as appointment-only, with no drop-in hours. A 2025 third-party guide also said PP Crypto asks for appointments above HK$50,000. In practice you message first, agree a rate, and then go. For anyone who likes to see a quote before committing cash, that is not a bad thing.
One correction worth making: one research directory we used placed PP Crypto in "Tsuen Wan Plaza". The operator's own address is Emperor Plaza, 18 Tai Ho Road. These are different malls, so do not rely on a name you found in a listicle.
Emperor Plaza and Tai Ho Road: a small crypto floor
Emperor Plaza's third floor is Tsuen Wan's closest thing to Mong Kok's 608 Nathan Road. As well as PP Crypto's Room 307, Coin ATM Radar lists an HK Bitcoin ATM Lamassu machine at Shop 329 on the same floor. It buys BTC, ETH and LTC, and its listed hours are 09:00 to midnight. Outside mall hours you are told to ring the bell and register with the guard. HK Bitcoin ATM is the city's oldest operator, but its own site was unreachable when we checked, so this listing rests on aggregator data.
Next door, at T.MARK, 10–20 Tai Ho Road, Coin ATM Radar lists a One Satoshi machine at Shop 301 that buys BTC and ETH. We flag it as unconfirmed. One Satoshi's September 2026 store list has no Tsuen Wan branch at all, only Mong Kok, Causeway Bay, Kwun Tong, Yuen Long, Sheung Shui, Tsim Sha Tsui and two in Sha Tin. CoinHero's three Tsuen Wan machines are all marked "buy only". Its fee is the same across the network: 13% plus HK$100 for unregistered users, 6.5% for registered members, with a HK$500 minimum and a first note of HK$500 or HK$1,000. Our CoinHero review works through what that means on a real purchase. CoinUnit accepts only HK$500 and HK$1,000 notes. It advertises selling, but only via a request form rather than on the spot. Localcoin, which says its fees are "typically 5–8%" and does not offer selling, lists one Tsuen Wan machine, and its address, Shop C1 of Mee Wah Building on Sha Tsui Road, is the same laundromat CoinUnit lists. Either both operators have a kiosk there, or one listing is out of date. It is worth a look before you commit to a long walk.
If you arrive at Tsuen Wan West on the Tuen Ma line, the Riviera Gardens unit on Yi Lok Street is the natural first stop. From Tsuen Wan station, the terminus of the red Tsuen Wan line, the Tai Ho Road malls, Sai Lau Kok Road and Hau Tei Square are all walkable through the footbridge network.
Paying 13% for a laundromat kiosk?
Card and bank-funded purchases online usually cost far less, and nothing has to be carried from Sha Tsui Road to the MTR.

Google's autocomplete suggests "usdt 找換店 荃灣" and "荃灣 換 usdt", so there is real local demand to swap Tether for Hong Kong dollars. What that search does not tell you is that the legal ground moved in 2025. Since the Stablecoins Ordinance took effect on 1 August 2025, the government has told LegCo that VA OTC shops are not "permitted offerors" and cannot offer specified stablecoins such as USDT to the public (LCQ10, 10 September 2025). Some shops elsewhere in the city stopped posting USDT prices after that. Others moved to quoting privately.
For you, that means three things. A counter that quoted USDT last month may not do so today. A shop that will do it may not put the rate on a board. And the risk of the deal going wrong sits with you. If you hold USDT and want HKD, the regulated path is to sell it on an SFC-licensed platform that supports it for retail and withdraw to your bank. Our view, after putting the options side by side: for a one-off HK$1,000 purchase at midnight, a laundromat kiosk works, but you pay for it. For anything in the tens of thousands, Crypto HK's published walk-in rules make it the most predictable counter in the district. Ask for the rate in writing and check the receiving address twice. For regular buying, or for any sale, an app on the SFC's licensed platform list beats both on cost and on legal certainty. That will matter more once the dealer bill arrives: the FSTB told LegCo in June 2026 that unlicensed dealers will get no transitional period.
Kwai Tsing and further afield
A few stops back toward Kowloon, Kwai Tsing adds more machines but no staffed counters. CoinHero lists two units in Kwai Fong Plaza (a LaundryUp open 24 hours, and ID House, open 10:00 to 21:00), one in 365 Laundry at Kwai King Building on Wo Tong Tsui Street in Kwai Chung, and one in the Cheung Hong Shopping Centre on Tsing Yi. Localcoin also shows one machine in Kwai Tsing. None of them sells.
If Tsuen Wan's two counters are closed, for example on a Sunday, the next staffed options are further away. Heading into Kowloon on the Tsuen Wan line, Mong Kok's crypto shops are roughly 20 minutes away by train, and One Satoshi's Mong Kok branch opens at weekends. Westward, Tuen Mun has plenty of machines but no confirmed shop, while Yuen Long has a One Satoshi branch. Heading to the airport? Which Tsuen Wan Bitcoin ATM is nearest Tsuen Wan West station?
Of the machines we could confirm, CoinHero's unit in All Day Laundry at Riviera Gardens, Yi Lok Street, sits on the waterfront side of town, closest to Tsuen Wan West on the Tuen Ma line. Most other machines cluster around Sha Tsui Road, Hau Tei Square and Sai Lau Kok Road, nearer the Tsuen Wan line terminus.
What does a Bitcoin ATM in Tsuen Wan cost?
At CoinHero, 13% plus a HK$100 fixed fee per purchase for unregistered users, or 6.5% after registration, with a HK$500 minimum. CoinUnit takes only HK$500 and HK$1,000 notes; a HK$90 + 6.9% fee seen in search snippets could not be confirmed on its site. Localcoin says its fees are typically 5–8%.
